I have owned many world class tube amps (Orange, Bogner, Fender, Marshall, Vox, Mesa Boogie etc.). Finally I decided to have a Bluetone Dusty Road Head with 4x6V6GT power tubes. I can say honestly that it is in the same category with those other top class amps. Clean sound is warm and suits very well to my playing style. Crunch channel is Marshallish, but has it´s own nature especially with 6V6GT tubes. I use a lot different effect pedals. That is why it is important that effect loop works properly and amp takes pedals well.

One important thing is that my amp can be modded easily when needed. I only have to descibe what kind of modifications I want and Harry does it fast and without trouble.

Bluetone AC30 is a very dynamic and clear sounding amp. It has a very nice articulation separating each played note with good balance. I have not tested it with a guitar with humbucer pick ups, but with a Stratocaster or Telecaster it`s sound is superb. On the top is it`s very attractive outlook which I appreciate a lot. I will never buy a factory made amp after Bluetone.
